Our Central West Local Land Services Ag Advisory team will take you through the paddock trial plots, highlighting the best broadleaf forage and fodder options for the Forbes region this season, and provide considerations for incorporating them into your 2026 grazing or cropping program.
Highlights include:
locally suited vetch varieties
long-season spring and winter canola
innovative oat mixtures with new vetch and field pea varieties
practical agronomy discussion on integrating productive broadleaf break crops into mixed farming systems.
