Forces, Friction & Fun is an exciting, interactive science show that brings the fascinating world of forces to life! Join us as we investigate the pushes and pulls that make things move, discover how gravity and friction affect our everyday lives, and explore science through hands-on demonstrations and volunteer challenges. This show will spark curiosity and show that science is all around us.

Show Highlights

🌀 Can You Beat Gravity? Watch as a powerful force works against gravity to keep objects from falling even when a bucket is turned upside down!

🫸🫷 Discover how forces make things move through exciting demonstrations that puts pushing and pulling power to the test.

🤸 Explore how friction can help objects grip, slow down, or stop moving, and learn why this important force helps us walk, run, and play every day.

The half hour show will be followed by hands-on science activity stations.

Our exploration stations will give children the opportunity to ignite their curiosity with hands-on activities. Children will enjoy making tasty sherbet and explore the science of magnets, learning how magnetic forces can push and pull objects.

Time: 10am- 12:00pm

Location: Rathmines Theatre 25 Stilling St, Rathmines NSW 2283.

Who: Primary school-aged children. All children must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Cost: $14 per child, $8 per adult. All accompanying adults are required to purchase a ticket.
