Foresight Community of Practice at MOD.

Join us at MOD. to welcome our next Visiting Research Fellow, Lina Srivastava, in residence at MOD. for four weeks this August.

Lina is a strategist, writer, speaker, producer, and storyteller. Driven by the belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to create lives of fulfilment in peaceful, just, prosperous communities, Lina Srivastava dedicates her work to community-led social transformation. She is the founder and director of the Center for Transformational Change, a social enterprise that supports community-led social, cultural, and political transformation through storytelling, creative expression, and relationship-building. Her work has supported organisations such as the ICRC, UNESCO, The Opportunity Agenda, and The New Humanitarian, and has fuelled social engagement campaigns for award-winning documentaries and immersive media projects​.

The galleries will be open from 5 pm where you can view FOREVER, an exhibition that explores multiple understandings of time, to grow our capacity to see the links between past, present and futures in new ways. Short speeches and activities focusing on dissecting uncertainty and risk will commence at 5:45 pm.

Make connections with the futures and foresight community in South Australia and contribute to strengthening the capability and impact of the field in pursuit of more equitable, prosperous and sustainable futures. The Foresight Community of Practice is jointly hosted by Professor Ariella Helfgott, Director of Foresight, SA Futures Agency, One Basin CRC and World Energy Council; and Dr Lisa Bailey, Director: MOD.
