Travel instructions
All car parks are accessed off Hackney Road. The Hackney Road car parks are closest to the meeting point — use these to enter via the Hackney Gate. Parking is free on Sundays and public holidays. Alternatively, take the tram or bus to the Botanic Garden stop, 150m from the Main Gate.

Hazards
Forest bathing involves deep breathing, slow walking, standing, and sitting or lying in nature. Physical risks relate to walking on natural terrain with roots and branches. The practice can also bring up strong emotions as your body releases tension — this is a normal part of the experience.

Accessible toilets are located at the Noel Lothian Hall public toilets, near the meeting point.
