What You Can Expect

You can expect quiet, reflective time, journaling, a guided forest bathing walk in the presence of horses exploring and sharing the wonders of this sacred time and space with a small, intimate group of six women
Through a series of specially crafted prompts, this experience invites you to open your senses and immerse yourself in the beauty of the environment.
While horses are present in this space, physical interaction with them is not part of the experience. Instead, they serve as gentle companions on your journey toward self-discovery. As you walk alongside these majestic creatures, their presence alone evokes a sense of calmness and serenity.
PLEASE NOTE: we will not be physically interacting with the horses
The journey begins with a grounding meditation to center yourself in the present moment. It is followed by an introduction to forest bathing - a practice that involves immersing oneself in nature to enhance well-being. You will learn appropriate behavior around horses to ensure both their safety and yours.
As you embark on this meditative walk through the forest surrounding the paddocks, you will not only connect with nature but also develop a deeper understanding of yourself. The intimate relationship between yourself and the herd allows for introspection and self-reflection.
There will be time for journaling near the herd, and we will end our time together with a tea gathering and sharing circle
This offering will be held outdoors at Factum Equine Stables in East Haddam, a private boarding stable on over 30 acres of protected land
Several days before the class, you will be sent an email with detailed instructions on how to get to the property and what you may want to bring/wear
