Event description

Our southwest forests are suffering during hotter, drier summers. WA filmmaker Jane Hammond’s new documentary ‘Browned Off’ tells the forests’ story, showing the effects of climate change. Come to our Forest Friends Fundraiser to help Jane source funds to finish ‘Browned Off’ for a late 2025 release.

At the Forest Friends Fundraiser you can ask Jane about filmmaking and hear a talk from Miyawaki forest maker Dr Grey Coupland. Meet local organisations working to grow and save our forests, and find out how you can take action on climate. Bring cash for a silent auction, raffles and cake stall!
