About Forest Therapy.
Forest Therapy offers a unique and powerful way to relax, heal, and connect with nature. By immersing ourselves in the beauty of the forest, we can experience a profound sense of well-being and rejuvenation. This introductory session will give you an experience of how sensory awakening can help you feel more connected to nature and yourselves, enhancing your overall experience of well-being.
Originating in Japan in the 1980's, Shinrin Yoku (Forest Bathing or immersion in the forest) was found to be an effective preventative health practice that also connected people more deeply with the beautiful forests. Ongoing research has shown that trees and plants give off volatile oils called phytoncides that boost our immune systems, reduces anxiety, regulate pulse and blood pressure and helps us feel calm amidst the everyday stresses of modern life. Join us to learn skills for your self and for your students wellbeing.
