Thank you for registering for @OrganiserName @EventName. I am looking forward to sharing this with you. Below are some important details for our session.

You'll also receive a reminder email with any updates a few days prior to the event.

When: See your session time above and on ticket. Please aim to arrive 10 minutes earlier to allow you to be relaxed and ready for our starting time.

Where: EJ Foote Memorial Sanctuary, Buderim (Google maps link here). We will meet in the picnic area down the stairs from the car park at the end of Park Lane.

The carpark entry is a 15 minute downhill walk through the suburb from the 616 bus stop (Mooloolaba Rd at Foote Avenue).

There are also multiple walking entry points to the park, so if you have time to explore the sanctuary before or after our session, you'll probably enjoy yourself!

What to expect: We will not be venturing far, so expect a relaxing rather than an athletic experience. We will spend a few slow, quiet but playful hours in the bush, awakening our senses. At the final part of the walk, we will have a small tea ritual.

What to wear: We will be moving quite slowly and not working up a sweat (as you might if you were bushwalking). Please check the weather forecast close the date. The event will go ahead in most cases and will only be cancelled if storms or heavy rain is predicted. I suggest:

weather-appropriate, comfortable clothing for being still outside for a few hours
hat
enclosed footwear
sun cream and insect repellent

I usually wear long trousers, long sleeves, boots and a hat - to protect me from the sun, the bugs, the snakes and so I that I will feel comfortable sitting or even lying on the ground, if the idea takes me.

What to bring:

water bottle
mask
a snack for afterwards is recommended

Arggh! What if I'm late? To respect the experience for all, participants may not be able to join after 15 minutes into the start time. If you find that you will be running late, please give me a call or send a text as soon as possible to 0476 212 616 so that we don't leave without you, or organise a replacement session.
