Forest Therapy Walk
Event description
Come and enjoy a free 3 hour Forest Therapy guided walk in the hidden gem of Sir Joseph Banks Park in Botany.
Breathe in the fresh air, savour the scent of the Summer breeze, delight in the dappled sunlight and enjoy a relaxing morning on a guided immersion in nature.
Beneficial for both mind and body Forest Therapy is inspired by the Japanese practise of Shinrin-Yoku (immersion in the forest).
With its series of sensory and creative activities this walk will encourage slowing down, de-stressing and re-connecting with nature.
I am hosting this walk as part of my practicum, whilst studying to become an INFTA (International Nature and Forest Therapy Alliance) Certified Forest Therapy Guide.
