Formal Launch of Josh-4-Hearts Foundation
Description
You're invited to the formal launch of Josh-4-Hearts Foundation (J4HF), a new Canberra charity dedicated to keeping young athletes safe from sudden cardiac arrest (SCA).
Following the loss of their son Josh to SCA in July 2025, Taiye and Joe Oguns established J4HF - the first charity of its kind in Australia.
About the event
This launch is a great opportunity to hear the charity's story and learn more about SCA in young athletes - including the importance of heart screening and how to respond in an emergency.
You'll hear from people with lived experience of SCA, alongside experts in sports cardiology and emergency response.
