"For Our Elders" NAIDOC Dinner
Event description
With this year's NAIDOC theme being "For Our Elders" the Mawang Gaway Elders wanted to create an event where the Elders in the area could attend and be acknowledged for everything they contribute to our community.
Please come along dressed up to be escorted into the Dinner by local Defence Force cadets, get your photo taken by a professional photographer, and then sit down to dinner with your peers and community.
Tickets for Elders for this event are Free. If you wish to transfer your ticket to another Elder due to not being able to attend can you please let us know by email at wwmawanggaway@gmail.com or by phone on 0437 691 812. The Elder tickets are not transferable to non-Elders.
Non Elder tickets are at a cost of $50 per ticket. If you have financial difficulties please reach out to the Mawang Gaway NAIDOC Committee at wwmawanggaway@gmail.com as some free community tickets will be available as well.
