Event description

This event will focus on building a caring workplace.

Statistically, in Australia alone, this week 3-4 people will die as a result of a workplace incident, and many more will be seriously injured. Moreover, as organisations are seeking to do more with less, increasing episodes of heightened workplace stress and mental health challenges can go unnoticed, often resulting in serious, even tragic outcomes.

If your employees seem hesitant to speak up, ask questions, or share ideas, it might be a sign that they don't feel safe in doing so.

Maybe your culture appears to be safe on the surface, but what steps can you take to be sure?

  • What are you doing about improving mental wellness?
  • Are you taking steps to identify and eliminate all psychosocial hazards?
  • How are you moving your workplace culture from Compliance to Care?Β Β

This forum will focus on building a caring workplace and will be an ideal opportunity to rub shoulders with your peers across multiple industries and functions.

Our IPA forum events are great opportunities to come together with others in your field to share and acquire knowledge.Β Attendance typically exceeds 40 people so you will depart with increased knowledge and a broader network to call upon in the future.

This will be your opportunity to dig deeper on topics that might be challenging you in your workplace.

We will have ample opportunity to raise and discuss our issues in an open forum and focus on two specific areas introduced by our presenters.
