Event description

Join Friends of Grasslands for a community Forum on the Nature Repair Act. 

The Australian Government passed this legislation in December 2023. While regulations containing the detail are still to be made, we now know the basic framework including key players and processes. Friends of Grasslands (FoG) is working out how FoG can be engaged, and if/how the market can be used to protect and restore grassy ecosystems.

In this Forum we will discuss how the market will work, how participants might expect to engage with the market and how the benefits of the market can be realised.

The event is open to the ANU Community and all ACT Conservation Council member groups.
