Forza - The Sydney Youth Orchestra 2027

As a not-for-profit organisation, SYO relies on your support to deliver our programs. Government funding and participation fees only cover a small portion of our costs, and the number of young musicians SYO has the capacity to train each year is a direct result of donations received. SYO aims to boldly shape the future of orchestral music by providing comprehensive training pathways and fostering an innovative artistic approach. By facilitating a dynamic conversation between professional musicians and conductors, SYO musicians are empowered to find their own artistic voice that reflects Australia’s rich musical landscape. Through innovative partnerships and community engagement, SYO breaks down barriers to orchestral music education while celebrating Australia’s diverse cultural heritage.
