Event description
Fostering Autistic Wellbeing – Self-Advocacy & Self-Compassion
An interactive talk for Autistic adults to discuss self-advocacy and self-compassion. We’ll chat about what it means to support yourself and your wellbeing in a way that is authentic to you. We’ll cover what self-advocacy is and how to use it to meet your needs and set boundaries. We’ll also explore how to cultivate self-compassion and accept yourself without apology. An opportunity to reflect, with a gentle nudge, and a little space to reconnect with being Autistic. With love and pride. Presenter will be Mr. Micheal Lynch, Northern Rivers Autism Association - Founder & Chair
