Found and Made: Drop-in workshop to make colourful creations from driftwood

Drop-in and join our creative workshop where children will transform pieces of driftwood into colourful artworks full of imagination and personality. Children can create something to keep and enjoy themselves or make a meaningful gift for someone special, celebrating the everyday relationships and moments of care that are at the heart of Ordinary Wonders.

Using paint and a range of creative materials, children will be encouraged to experiment, explore their ideas and let their imaginations lead the way. Along the way, they'll build creative confidence, fine motor skills, problem-solving abilities and self-expression in a safe and supportive environment. They'll discover that every brushstroke, colour choice and creative experiment is part of the journey, helping to develop resilience, patience and pride in their work. Most of all, this workshop celebrates the joy of creating and the little acts of generosity and connection that can make someone's day.

This workshop is for children ages 5 - 10 accompanied by a caregiver/parent.

Ordinary Wonders includes a five-week programme of FREE workshops, performances, conversations, film screenings, and creative activities designed to celebrate connection, belonging, and the memories that shape our lives.

All events are FREE, but registration is encouraged, with limited places available for some workshops.
