found-object collage/sculpture making

Thursday, June 11th | 6 PM | Our Lady of the Snows | $10 | Sign-up Required

In this class, students will learn skills for creating mixed-media 3-dimensional collage art pieces and be provided with a wide variety of reclaimed materials for use.

Anna, with Secondhand Salamander, is an artist and graduate student studying Sustainability whose lifelong practice has centered on the creative reuse of secondhand materials. Her multi-media photography and sculptural work have been exhibited by the Getty and the Utah Museum of Contemporary Art, as well as at local shows and markets. She dabbles in a bit of everything, doing live performance art and typewriter poetry pop-ups as "Anna Does Almost Anything." As a board member of Secondhand Salamander, SLC's creative reuse center, Anna teaches a variety of workshops on giving everyday materials new life in imaginative ways.

ACE aims to create an inclusive and accessible environment for all of our attendees; please contact our Executive Director, Sara Gibbs, with any questions regarding accessibility
