Join us for a nurturing afternoon uncovering found poems and connection, in a cosy creative hideout at Many Arts Studio.

What to expect:

a step-by-step introduction to found poetry
time to explore making your own found poems
bringing in different materials and art forms to complement your found poems
gentle sharing, witnessing, and responding - each in our own ways, together
present and publish your found poems in a simple origami zine
receive copies of each other's found poetry zines in the mail after our lovely gathering

This gathering is open to anyone who is interested in a creative afternoon. No experience necessary. All materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your favourite pen/pencil/marker. Maximum 8 participants.

This afternoon will be co-led by:

Amy is a writer and the founder of Words of a Feather, a studio for writers of all ages.

She believes in creative writing as a tool for self-discovery, expression, connection, imagination, and joy. Through her writing and work, she hopes to bring creatively-curious individuals together, to learn and grow, find our voices, and share our stories.

Weiyu is an artistic companion and the host of Many Arts Studio, an urban creative hideout for all.
