and a color wheel to continue developing techniques at home.
For the first time at Branches, Join us as we explore acrylic paint techniques in this highly intuitive workshop.
This hands-on session will offer limitless possibilities for combining different acrylic applications as you create works of art rich with texture and colorful layers.
During our time together, you’ll explore working with supplies such as Acrylic paints, Acrylic ink, Acrylic markers, and archival tissue while you create unique and meaningful artwork.
Together, we will explore:
Why might you choose acrylics instead of or in conjunction with a wide range of materials?
How do we create layers of complexity using acrylic media?
How does acrylic paint support creative curiosity?
What are the tools and techniques for acrylic paints in the classroom?
How do you introduce acrylic paints to children?
How can acrylic media support narrative and storytelling?
What are the tricks and tips to creating a wide range of beautiful palettes?
In addition to the hands-on work, we will share a long-term exploration of Acrylics from the children of Branches Atelier.
We look forward to seeing you on Campus!
