Event description

NECA Victoria is exited to launch our very own EmPOWER Series, building on the momentum of our International Women’s Day event to transform inspiration into action through hands-on, small-group workshops. Designed by women for women in the electrotechnology industry, the program focuses on practical skill-building, leadership development, and creating meaningful connections to drive lasting change across the sector.

This first workshop focuses on identifying individual leadership styles and applying them to real-world scenarios, enabling leaders to navigate challenging conversations, build self-awareness, and leverage their strengths for greater outcomes. Using the 3-pillar approach of Support, Challenge, Champion, participants will:

  • Support: Build a foundation of trusting relationships and set the scene for successful interactions through effective communication and engagement.

  • Challenge: Apply personal leadership styles to drive innovation, give constructive feedback, and set stretch goals.

  • Champion: Recognise and celebrate success, mentor others, and foster a motivated, cohesive team.
