Foundations of Effective Preparation: Preparing the Person (4 of 4), Series Finale

The series so far has looked at the therapy team: the container, the dyad, and the challenges that arise for practitioners during preparation. The final session turns to the person receiving the therapy, and the inner ground a client brings with them into a dosing session.

Lana Sciberras works through what it takes to genuinely ready someone for psychedelic-assisted therapy, beyond screening and logistics. Expect territory such as:

Somatic awareness and readiness, and how a client's relationship with their own body shapes the work
Mindset, and the difference between holding an intention and holding an expectation
A process-oriented lens on how a person's own material begins to move during preparation

This is reflective, discussion-based group supervision rather than a lecture. If you have a de-identified case where a client's preparation has been the live question, bring it.

Who should attend: PAT practitioners, trainees and clinicians involved in preparation work, including those in dyads and triads. Practitioners who have attended earlier sessions in the series are particularly welcome, and newcomers are welcome to join.
