Description

Gabrielle & Renata are delighted to offer a Course on the "Foundations of Mindfulness".

Over 4 consecutive Thursdays: 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd April,
we will be diving into the Four Foundations of Mindfulness, by exploring the Body & Breath, Feeling tone, Mind states & Dhammas, to support your deepening into practice.

How to Participate
There are two ways to participate:

1. Join the four-week Course ($20 + Dana/donation)
or
2. For more flexibility, simply drop-in to any session as usual ($5 + Dana/donation)

Sessions will begin at 6:15pm, and include a Meditation, Talk and group sharing.

We offer a safe and relaxed space, and everyone is welcome, from beginners to more experienced meditators.

Why Choose this Course?

Buddha taught the Four Foundations of Mindfulness as "Ways" to establish our attention in the present moment. Using these tools of Mindfulness we can learn how to relate to the demands of being human and to re-discover the freedom that is always available to us.

In our experience, committing to a course can help build momentum in your practice and deepen your understanding of Mindfulness + Meditation from both a practical and theoretical viewpoint.

As we gain insight into our lives through meditation, we can bring more calm and clarity into our everyday lives.

About the Teachers

Gabrielle McMahon
Gabrielle began practicing Meditation and Yoga Dharma whilst living in Japan over 18 years ago. The intention to deepen her meditation practice led to the discovery of Vipassana and Insight Meditation traditions over 10 years ago.  Gabrielle practices in the Mahasi Sayadaw Insight tradition, and her principle teachers are Ven. Sayadaw Vivekananda and Ven. Sayalay Daw Bhaddamanika of Panditarama Nepal.

She is a graduate of the 4-year Insight Meditation Institute Teacher training and Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach’s Mindfulness Meditation Teacher program, as well as a 350-hour Yoga Teacher.  Gabrielle is passionate about sharing Buddha's teachings with authenticity and kindness. She is the Co-founder and leader of Lennox Insight Meditation.

Renata Malinauskas
Renata Malinauskas is a dedicated Dharma practitioner of over 15 years, beginning in the Vipassana tradition and later deepening through Vajrayana, Western Insight, and non-dual teachings. With extensive experience in silent retreat practice, she now serves as an insight meditation teacher, leading residential retreats, workshops, and courses in Australia and online.

With a background in somatics and trauma-informed work, her interest lies in exploring the meeting point of psychological transformation and spiritual awakening, and in sharing the Dharma as a living practice of presence, inquiry, and unfolding in everyday life. Renata works as a somatic therapist in private practice in Brunswick Heads, NSW, and online.
