- Keen to integrate the ancient wisdom of yoga into a modern practice at your usual studio
- Thinking of trying yoga but don't want the 'stress' of practising with other seasoned practitioners in a studio.

This course has been designed to be safe, accessible, insightful and fun. Its aim is to support you in your exploration of this ancient practice and provide a nurturing space for your learning and growth.
Yoga is an integrated practice of
the mind, body and soul and this course is about embodying all of that.
What
you can experience,
- A structured learning curriculum taught by a certified yoga teacher who is also a trained educator and proficient in pedagogy and learning design.
- Take-home materials to help you with your practice after the training.
- Time to integrate what you have learnt in class through practice and play.
- A fun and nurturing learning environment in an amazing setting atop the lovely hills, it will feel like a retreat!
- Time for your concerns and questions to be heard and answered.
- Small group of no more than 15 in a class.
What you can learn,
- The fundamental principles that apply to poses.
- The nature of the mind and techniques to nurture it.
- Key foundational poses and their proper alignments.
- The awareness of the breath and how to nurture your body as it is moving through poses.
- How to improve your balance, strength and flexibility with intention.
- The integrity in which to hold your poses from a mental/spiritual perspective.
- Some key philosophical/spiritual principles of the yoga practice.
- How to chant 'Om' and simple mantras as you find your mantra voice.
- The 9 attitudes of mindfulness to embody.
- How to keep building your practice.
- Learning to practice in a non-judging and composed manner.
- Using yoga as a healing practice.
- Various mindful meditation practices.

What to wear/bring:
- Comfortable clothing to do yoga in
- Towel
- Bottle of water
- Learner’s mind ; )
- Mats are available if you need (but do recommend bringing your own).
- A
pen and notepad if you like to take notes. (Pen and Paper is provided
if you need)

- By booking into this course you agree that you are physically, emotionally and mentally fit and able to perform the exercises in the class.

- Please also note that an image release and liability waiver form has to be signed prior to commencement of the course.
