But Arjun Satya has revived its relevancy with M360 - a turnkey publishing and monetization platform for digital news publishers. M360 helps media companies create content, build an audience and monetize effectively. Incubated inside India's largest digital products company, Times Internet, M360 provides cutting-edge publishing and monetization tools that only large publishers have the resources to build. As a result, M360 is becoming the go-to platform for local small-to-medium news publishers irrespective of language or geography.

Since its official launch in June 2020, M360 is now enabling over 130 small-to-medium digital media organizations in 14 languages, reaching more than 50 million monthly active users. Publishers shifting to M360 have seen a 100% lift in revenues and a 56% decrease in average operating costs. Host Helen Loughlin talks to Arjun Satya about seeing the platform's initial growth and how Google has partnered with M360 in enabling its monetization software through the platform.

SPEAKER BIO

Arjun Satya is the visionary co-founder for M360 at Times Internet, leading the business strategy and the product roadmap. Arjun holds a Bachelor's degree in Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay. There, he was conferred with the Undergraduate Research Award for his final year project. Arjun joined Times Internet Limited in India in July 2014 as a Product Manager for the Company's 'Audience Platform' and, at 28, is one of the youngest leaders in his domain.

Arjun said: 'Through M360, I am motivated to support local journalism by helping small media companies become self-sustaining and to build a community of such entrepreneurial publishers'.

Arjun was a part of the founding team of 'Colombia' in 2014, an in-house Advertising Platform at Times Internet responsible for managing and generating most of the Company's advertising-driven revenue.
