Fountain Lakes - SHAPE OF TIME - Single Launch with Baby Velvet

Join Fountain Lakes at the Brunswick Green (band room) for an intimate theatre style show on Sunday 10th May, 3-6pm with very special guest Baby Velvet who'll be fresh off tour.

After the release of their first single, Dreams, Fountain Lakes are taking you into the wild woods for Shape Of Time, the second single from their forthcoming debut EP. Written during a writing retreat in the wintery hills of Warburton, Shape Of Time is a chant, a meditation on nature and the pace of modern life. Motivated by a writing game involving Laura Veirs Kaleidoscope Creativity Cards, Shape Of Time is the first song Fountain Lakes wrote as a collective and the title track of their Debut EP, due for release in August 2025. 

Recorded and mixed with Greg Walker (Machine Translations) at General Store Studios in Gippsland, and featuring strings recorded by Walker, this spooky meditation was mastered by Timothy Stollenwerk at Stereophonic Mastering in Portland, Oregon (The Lostines, Wooden Ships).
