Seven Stars Art Center is pleased to present the fourth edition of the Four Guitars Concert. This tradition was conceived in 2019 by Peter Neri, host of the radio show, “One Guitar” on Royalton Community Radio (Royalton Radio) in South Royalton, VT.
The concert features local area guitarists demonstrating four distinctly different genres of music and each played instrumentally on a solo guitar with no musical accompaniment.
Each artist will play for approximately 20 minutes, with a short intermission after the first two performers.
Doors open at 6:30.
Children under 12 – free admittance.

William Ghezzi - Classical
Guitarist William Ghezzi has performed extensively with orchestras, chamber ensembles, choruses, dance companies,
in theater and opera, and for films, radio and television. He has appeared with the Montpelier Chamber Orchestra,
the Harry Partch Ensemble, the Philadelphia Guitar Ensemble, and in many other solo and chamber music settings.

Spencer Lewis - Meditative
Spencer performs his signature Americana folk grooves using his inimitable cross-flat-picking technique and
John Hurt style finger-picking. Some are solo pieces taken from his internationally known 26 album catalog
and a few songs tonight will be recent compositions.

Peter Neri - Alt Rock/Alt Folk
Before moving to the Upper Valley in 1980, Peter started his career playing guitar for rock bands that opened for some
well-known pop groups. Since then, Peter has released three CDs of all original solo guitar instrumentals. He has also written and performed on music that is currently being streamed on a few TV shows.

Steve Ellis - Jazz
Steve’s primary influences include jazz masters Wes Montgomery, Kenny Burrell, Jim Hall, Pat Martino,
and Martin Taylor. Steve has deep roots in the Upper Valley. Before moving to Burlington in 2016
he appeared regularly at Hanover’s Canoe Club, the Woodstock Inn and the Quechee Inn.
He also thrives in ensembles, accompanying singers, and in duos with other guitarists.
In recent years he has focused on his solo repertoire with arrangements for six and seven-string guitar.
