Four Seasons, Four Courses
Event description
Join us at the inaugural “Four Seasons, Four Courses” lunch as Orange’s renowned chef, Michael Manners, prepares a delicious 4-course meal to be served at high altitude.
At 1,100m above sea level, Basalt is Orange’s newest luxury accommodation offering comprising three architecturally designed studios, each boasting stunning views across the Central Tablelands.
Four Seasons, Four Courses is the first of what we hope to be many bespoke events staged on the top block of the Rollin family cherry orchard in our brand new guest entertaining area.
The lunch will be progressive in style, as guests will wander several orchard trails culminating with the main and dessert courses served by Michael and his team at the highest point of the property.
Seasonality is everything on the cherry orchard, with Basalt host and owner, Simon Rollin to discuss why each of the four seasons is so highly anticipated.
Each lunch course will be matched to a different locally produced wine, with winemakers on hand to share their insights into each of the four seasons when it comes to grape growing and wine production.
Tickets are limited, so book early to be a part of this unique food and wine celebration. If poor weather, the lunch will still proceed however the outdoor dining component may not be possible. If moved indoors, all 4 courses will be served in the Rollin cherry packing shed. Please email simon@basaltorange.com.au with any dietary requirements at least one week prior to event date.
