An Intimate Evening with François K

We’re beyond excited to welcome back François K, one of the most influential DJs and producers in electronic music. This time, he’ll be performing in an extremely intimate setting at The Sonder Listening Bar; a venue built by musicians and designed to showcase great audio.

François K’s pedigree speaks for itself. He helped shape the art of the remix working with Kraftwerk, Jimmy Cliff, U2, Moloko, Ashford & Simpson, the Smiths, Diana Ross, The Cure, Fishbone, Yazoo and so many others. His career as a DJ spans nearly 50 years and includes spinning records at Studio 54, the Paradise Garage, The Loft, Better Days, Zanzibar, Space Ibeza, Ministry of Sound, Fabric, Tresor, Panorama Bar and so many others. His Deep Space parties were legendary explorations of funky grooves, ambient textures, and genre-bending surprises. To this day, François continues to innovate with both technology and new music, weaving stems and sounds from across the musical spectrum into sets that are immersive, unpredictable, and always world-class.

In this rare, intimate environment, you can expect François to dig deep and take us on a journey unlike any other.

Opening the night will be Portland’s own Krista Basis & Jeff Winograd (Phæjay), going back-to-back with three hours of gems to set the stage. It will be the perfect way to start your evening and be sure to be there for the entirety of Francois’ set.

Expect a full night of discovery, energy, and deeply moving music.
