Frangipani Fabrics - 4-week creative sewing course

This is a free group exclusively for current or waitlisted SASS clients.

No previous experience required. All materials provided!

Starting 8 March for 4 weeks on Fridays 9am-12pm (three sessions reamaining)
Session 1 - Friday 8 March
Session 2 – Friday 22 March
Session 3 - Friday 5 April
Session 4 - Friday 12 April

Frangipani Fabrics is a community sewing hub in North Hobart. They are a community-minded fabric shop and sewing school with the goal of promoting creativity and making the psychosocial benefits of sewing accessible to everyone.

In this course you will be supported to make a textile creation of your choice. This could be a bag, quilt, sculpture, or item of clothing. It could be a purely functional or creative piece that might include pieces of salvaged clothing, photographs, text, images, symbols, memories, storytelling, stitching and more...
