Free Acting Workshop
Description
Free Acting Workshop
Whether you're completely new to acting or looking to build confidence and develop your performance skills, this free workshop is a great opportunity to explore acting in a supportive and creative environment.
Before the workshop:
Write and memorise a 30-second script about yourself. It can include your likes, dislikes, interests, hobbies, a memorable story, or anything else that gives us a sense of who you are.
Bring a second script (monologue, scene, or other performance piece) that you'd like to work on during the session.
What to bring:
Your two prepared scripts.
A water bottle if you'd like.
Comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely.
The workshop will include a range of acting exercises, improvisation, movement, voice work, and scene development. Expect to participate, collaborate with others, and step outside your comfort zone in a welcoming and encouraging space.
Wednesday 29th July
6:00- 9:00 PM - FREE
Please note that this workshop will be physically and emotionally engaging, so come prepared to move, participate, and fully immerse yourself in the exercises.
