FREE Cloth Nappies Workshop – Banksia ABA Group

Join Elana from Cloth Nappy Workshops Melbourne to discover the world of modern cloth nappies. She will take you through everything you need to know to get started with cloth nappies. Learn how to wash them, where to buy them and what to look for. She will cover washing tips, dispel myths, show the different styles of modern cloth and most importantly an opportunity to ask questions to get you confident with cloth.

Presenter bio: Elana is the owner of Cloth Nappy Workshops Melbourne and its active Facebook group with over 1,500 members. She lives a minimalist and low waste lifestyle, with two young children who spent a combined 5 years in cloth nappies. She is passionate about reducing the environmental impact of households, but also understands the pressures of modern life and balancing work and children. Elana has spent the last 8 years running educational workshops, having presented at a number of Council events and festivals.

Elana has been a past member of ABA for many years and has kindly agreed to present this session to give back to ABA and help us support new parents in our community!

Mums, dads, caregivers, babies, kids and support people are all welcome. Enjoy connecting with other local parents and sharing your experiences. There will be breastfeeding counsellors available to answer any questions you may have.

Tea and coffee provided, bring your own morning tea or a plate to share if you wish.

Location is Old Shire Offices, 60 Beverley Rd, Heidelberg. Accessible ramp entrance is to the left hand side of the building.
