Free Community Forest Therapy Walk
Event description
Step away from the rush of everyday life and immerse yourself in the healing power of nature. 🌿
Forest Therapy (also known as forest bathing or shinrin-yoku) is a guided experience that invites you to slow down, tune into your senses, and connect more deeply with the natural world. It’s not about distance or fitness — it’s about presence, mindfulness, and restoration.
On this 3-hour guided walk at Cecil Hoskins Nature Reserve, you’ll be gently guided through simple invitations designed to:
Ease stress and calm the mind
Boost wellbeing and creativity
Deepen your connection with nature — and yourself
Leave you feeling refreshed, grounded, and clear
✨ No prior experience is needed. Come as you are. These walks are inclusive, gentle, and open to all.
Why join?
Because in today’s busy world, we spend most of our time indoors, often disconnected from the simple joy of being in nature. This is your chance to pause, breathe, and restore balance in a beautiful local reserve.
Who is guiding?
Your guide, Luke, is a local Forest Therapy guide-in-training with a background in leadership and a passion for helping people reconnect with the outdoors. These walks are part of the certification journey and are offered free to the community.
