Steering Healthy Minds (SHM) is a not-for-profit organisation and collaboration between key organisations with interests in improving the mental health within the transport industry. SHM recognise that mental health issues in the industry are on the rise and want to offer meaningful support for workers and help establish programs for employers. NEW CONSULTING SERVICES – FREE INFORMATION SESSION Commencing our services in Victoria, we want to enhance the accessibility and quality of mental health services for small to medium transport organisations, that align to our SHM key organisational objectives and deliverables. If you are also looking for assistance to prepare for the new Victorian regulations for psychosocial hazards coming in December 2025, we encourage you to attend our information session to hear about our new service. WHEN: Tuesday, 1 April, 8.30am - 10.30am with morning tea provided FACILITATOR: Greg Cain, Steering Healthy Minds Consultant WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Victorian state-based Transport Work Health Safety Representatives, Owner Drivers, HR and Management SESSION INCLUDES: Overview and insight to our new consulting services, where we are looking to offer free consultations to 3-4 organisations, that will deliver the following benefits: - Prevention strategies and processes to reduce suicides, accidents, injuries and workers compensation claims - Promote and raise awareness for transport workers who may experience metal health concerns - Normalise discussion on mental health issues in the same manner as physical injuries - Support and help establish on the ground peer to peer mental health programs within their organisation. |
