Free Dinosaur Adventure
Event description
Finding a dinosaur can be accomplished by one person but, getting a dinosaur out of the ground is
always a team effort.
During this free event for kids in grades K-8, Paleontologists Mike and Roberta Straka will explain the different skills that have to come together for a successful paleontological dig.
Kids attending will experience the thrill of digging up a real Triceratops dinosaur bone and then help construct a dinosaur on a large cut-out!
This free Unity Hall event co-sponsored by the Barneveld Free Library is free for children accompanied by a parent or guardian to attend thanks to member support and a Stewarts Shops Holiday Match grant.
