Free First Friday: Sew a Fabric Pumpkin

Join us for Free First Friday! For the first Friday of each month there will be a Free Activity. If you've always wanted to try a class with us this is the perfect opportunity! RSVP is required, 12 seats available

Learn how to make your own fabric pumpkin in this free class using scrap fabrics or upcycled materials. No sewing experience necessary. Bring in any clothing, denim, or fabrics you have around the house and learn how to upcycle them into a fun pumpkin. We will provide stuffing, needles, thread, and some fabrics. You can choose from a variety of fabrics to create your own unique pumpkin.

By the end of the workshop, you will have created your own fabric pumpkin that you can be proud of! Each participant will make 1 to 2 fabric pumpkins. 

This is a family friendly event. You are welcome to bring your own beverage or snack.

• How to cut and sew a fabric pumpkin
• How to stuff the pumpkin
• How to decorate the pumpkin

HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN CLASS

This is a In Person Class session taking place at our shop located at 547 Bloomfield Ave, Montclair NJ. Materials and tools will be provided during the class. We encourage you to bring in some fabrics from home to use, such as an old shirt, jeans, tablecloth, or other fabrics.

APPROPRIATE AGES FOR PARTICIPATION 

This class is appropriate for Adults and Teens to participate in. Participants must be at least 13 years old or older and can work independently. If a participant needs a caretaker or parent to assist with the project the assisting person does not need a ticket. 

CLASS PARTICIPATION

This is a Live event. Participants must attend on the scheduled date and time of the class in order to partake. There is no recorded session available for replay. It is the Participant’s responsibility to contact us prior to the event if they are unable to attend for any reason. If we as the Organizers need to reschedule an event participants will be notified of any changes.
