What is Ecstatic Dance?
Ecstatic dance is a form of dance in which the dancers, sometimes without the need to follow specific steps, release themselves to the rhythm and move freely as the music takes them, leading to trance and what is said to be a feeling of ecstasy.
Ecstatic dance encourages you not to dance for anyone but yourself, to listen to the music, and to let that guide you.
A conscious movement practice that invites people to drop out of their minds to unwind and open to inner wisdom.
