Free Guided Tours of the Toorak Village Sculpture Exhibition Join Jane
Join Jane Scott, Curator of the Toorak Village Sculpture Exhibition, for a guided tour through one of Melbourne’s longest-running sculpture exhibitions.
Now in its 23rd year, the Toorak Village Sculpture Exhibition brings contemporary sculpture out of the gallery and into the windows and streetscape of Toorak Village. Presented in collaboration with local businesses, the exhibition gives visitors the opportunity to experience sculpture in an accessible and distinctly public setting.
Jane will guide guests through the exhibition, sharing insights into the works, the artists and the history of this unique annual cultural event.
With more than forty years’ experience in the arts, Jane Scott is a highly regarded arts industry leader with extensive expertise in arts management, curatorial practice, cultural relations and advocacy. She has led a number of major public arts institutions, including Monash Gallery of Art, Craft Victoria and TarraWarra Museum of Art, and served as Australia’s Cultural Ambassador in Washington DC.
Jane was also the inaugural curator of the Access Gallery at the National Gallery of Victoria and has served on numerous arts boards and funding authorities throughout her career.
