Free Movie Event - Things Will be Different

MercyCare Family and Community Services invites the community to a special FREE screening of the poignant documentary "Things Will Be Different" (Rated M) at Luna Cinemas Leederville on Wednesday 7 August, starting at 6 PM. This event, as part of Homelessness Week 2024, aims to raise awareness about the pressing issue of homelessness across Australia.

"Things Will Be Different" documents the heart-wrenching experiences of two neighbours who face displacement from the Walker Street public housing estate in Northcote, Melbourne, as it is sold for private redevelopment. The film offers a deep and empathetic exploration of the personal impact of losing one's home. It underscores the critical role that public housing plays in our communities.
