Join senior yoga teacher and yoga therapist, Michelle Freeman, in a workshop on how to bring yoga philosophy into everyday life and practical ways you can invite this philosophy into your life on and off the yoga mat.
Many people are attracted to yoga for the physical and health benefits, however, much of how yoga can impact our life is through the wisdom that supports the physical practices of yoga. Â This wisdom can also be explored through practices such as yoga asana, yogic breathwork (pranayama) and meditation. Â We will explore how these themes present through the practice of yoga.
In this talk, we discuss key themes of the Yoga Sutras and beyond that offer a foundation in how this ancient philosophy can help you find freedom from suffering and a greater level of contentment. Â
Included in this session is a guided meditation and yogic breathwork to balance the mind and body.Â
