Destress with Yoga: Self Practices for Mental Wellbeing
Event description
MOVE YOUR BODY AND RELAX YOUR MIND WITH FREE YOGA
Want to destress ahead of exams, but don't know how?
Get ready to be guided through a series of breath work practices, meditation techniques and yoga poses that you can take off the mat and use in everyday life. This session has been intentionally curated as a gentle practice that provides simple, repeatable tools that can be used to support your mental health. Enjoy the fresh air as you learn new yoga poses, stretch your body and mind, and take a moment to focus on yourself. All levels are welcome, from beginners to advanced participants.
About Your Teacher: Kayla is a yoga teacher with a training background in Mental Health Aware and trauma sensitive yoga. Her yoga journey began as a way to manage chronic pain, fatigue and mental wellbeing. She will share the tools she uses to care for her mental health for you to take off the mat and use whenever you need them, too.
