About the show
It’s the grand opening of Petra Quek’s noodle stall, ‘Flying Mee Hoon Kueh’ and you’re invited! Join Petra as she cooks her signature dish, Mee Hoon Kueh, and shares the story of how it all started…
Petra's twin sister, Jena, is her best friend and business partner. They've dreamed of running their very own noodle stall together since they were kids. One day, Jena starts to grow feathers. Which is no big deal. But when Jena develops a beak, wings, and penchant for watching the sky, Petra starts to worry that their dream of making the best noodles in Auckland will be a solo flight.
At the end of the performance, audience members will be invited to try a small serving of Mee Hoon Kueh - a Hokkien Chinese noodle dish.
