The Free Summer Workshops, organised by Wild Woman of Willunga, are thoughtfully designed to encourage social engagement, skill development, and the strengthening of community ties at 'Here's to Strength', Aldinga. These workshops promote sustainability by repurposing old garments, thereby supporting a circular economy and contributing to the reduction of textile waste in landfills.
The Denim Jewellery Making Workshop offers participants an engaging opportunity to transform small pieces of denim into distinctive jewellery items. Techniques such as creating denim feathers and denim roses serve as innovative examples of how to upcycle old jeans and give new life to textiles.
