Free The Friday Launches on Friday 9th August - Bookings Essential!

Join us for the launch of Red Rattler's new Live Music Program - a monthly free live music night featuring local trailblazers performing original music. 

Calling all musicans and vocalist to the Jam Session at the end of the bands sets we open the Mic!

Headlining the first Free The Friday is hip-hop artist MARI., fresh off a national tour with Horrorshow. She'll be performing with her live band. 

Opening the night will be a 4-piece band led by Grace Barr

Grace Barr is a Gadigal/Sydney based songwriter from Northwest UK, her music style is inspired by Appalachian trad music, and Pop. She has performed at Tropical Fruits Festival, The Bearded Tit, Imperial Hotel, Alleghany Jubilee (NC), Sydney World Pride, Powerhouse Museum, The Huxleys Bloodlines Exhibition at Carriageworks, Low 302 and Kangaroo Valley Folk Festival. She performs on banjo, electric & acoustic guitar her own compositions about her travels, loves & friendships

DJ Thaen is a budding DJ with lots of passion for representing Thamizh culture and music as a female Thamizh DJ. Play's South Asian rhythms and melodies into my DJing from around the world. Fuelled by an intense love of unique sounds, they are all about inspiring people to let loose and just be silly on the dance floor. Expect a carefully curated infectious set that gets everyone groovin

Free The Friday is all about freeing the music and supporting musicians + offering access to audiences finding it tough to buy tickets!
