Freeform Mixed Media Creating: The Art of Layers
Event description
freeform mixed media creating: the art of layers
Thursday, June 26th | 6 PM | Our Lady of the Snows | $5 | Sign-up Required
In this class, students will learn the value of adding layers to creating mixed media art, by whatever means we can imagine. Anything with color that can be applied to canvas is fair game. Students will go home with an 11x14 painting of their own and the mindset that we are all artists.
Jason Jacobson is a local Cottonwood Heights mixed-media artist with a background in Graphic Design. He’s been designing for 25+ years and creating for about 5 years. Aside from my design work, Jason works in largely mixed media painting and jewelry making. His mediums for mixed art are anywhere from acrylic & collage, to mono printing, crayon art, charcoal & chalk, epoxy resin, and alcohol ink.
