In this class, we will talk a little about ancestral practices of herbal hair care and a little dive into herbalism for scalp and hair health. I will share a few different herbs and their medicinal properties for hair. I will also mention the ethics of working with plants and honoring your lineage to avoid cultural appropriation. I will go over infusing oil with herbs a little, but the deep dive will be into hair rinsing and using water or apple cider vinegar for hair rinses. Each guest will get to create their own ACV herb infusion to take home and strain when ready for their own hair rinse.

Kailey is a steward for Mama Earth. She loves to frolic and spend all the time she can in nature with my dog Lucy. Kailey has been in the beauty industry for over a decade, and began my herbalism journey in 2017, where she decided to leave the beauty industry fully and create my herbal hair care line. She believes the future of beauty is returning to the earth, to the past, and how our ancestors used herbs for beauty, health, and wellness. Kailey is very passionate about sharing herbalism with others because it has changed my life in such a profound way. She is also a musician and loves weaving stories into song.
