There are useful wild herbs at higher elevations that can be used as food and medicine. Join Merry on an herb walk to see them and learn of their therapeutic uses. We will not collect any herbs, but Merry can speak to their benefits and historical uses.

Merry is a clinical herbalist, teacher, author and wild guide. She has retired from her 20 years of practice in botanical medicine where she used wild herbs along with the usual herbs of commerce. Her work and research has been published in various magazines and journals.
