Fremantle Integration Circle
Event description
The Australian Psychedelic Society is excited to invite you to the Perth chapter's first psychedelic integration circle. It will run weekly in July on Mondays from 7-9p.m (4 sessions total) with limited spaces available.
The integration circle space provides a safe, non-judgemental and confidential environment for those who have used psychedelics and who are struggling to make sense of a challenging psychedelic experience, wishing to share a meaningful one or interested in learning more about psychedelics and meeting like-minded people.
We aim to provide a safe, confidential, friendly and comfortable space where people can openly explore and discuss their experiences and share them with others who may help them achieve a more integrated understanding. The integration process is assisted by finding clarity, meaning, support, and guidance along the way. This held space will assist in applying context to your experience in relation to others going through similar transpersonal journeys.
We acknowledge that recreational use of psychedelics continues despite a long history of criminalisation. The group does not encourage or condone recreational use but we do provide harm minimisation interventions and psychoeducation to those who make their own choice to do this. The circle will focus on learning tools and techniques to work through experiences in a structured way, guiding members through a process of reflection and action.
We will be providing hot organic handcrafted tea, kindly supplied by The Dreaming Tree Apothecary, so please bring a cup along with you.
The group will be facilitated by:
Tabitha Farrell
Tabitha will be graduating with her master’s degree in counselling at the end of the year. With an undergrad in psychology, she has a passion for working with people, facilitating a keen interest in group therapy and psychedelic integration. Tabitha has over 12 years of experience working with plant medicines and resonates with the psychedelic harm reduction and integration (PHRI) model and mindful self-compassion. She endeavours to address stigma and spread awareness of the enormous therapeutic potentials of psychedelic medicines to ensure that people have access to the support they need. Using harm reduction practices and tools for maintaining and magnifying the benefits of psychedelic experiences, we can maximise our journey's full potential.
