Walk 16 French Farm Vistas and History
Event description
Join Rebekah Haycock and Kamala Hayman for this rare opportunity to climb high into the hills above French Farm to fantastic viewpoints with remarkable vistas. The tramp will go on mostly farm tracks but will involve a decent amount of climbing but be rewarded with incredible views of Akaroa Harbour. There is a tremendous amount of history to be shared on this walk as well as views and biodiversity.
Start time: 10 am
Duration: 6 hours approx.
Distance: 14km.
Walk climbs: 700m approx.

**Walks canceled by the Festival due to weather related incidents or factors beyond our control (road closure/slips) are eligible for a 60% refund only. Walks canceled due to guide unavailability are eligible for a full refund (minus the Humanitix fee). There will be no rescheduling of canceled walks and refunds will not be available to people who cancel out of a walk. Please let the organiser know as soon as possible if you cancel out of a walk at bpwalkingfest@gmail.com
