Join us for a very special edition of the French Market at Highwic, celebrating 130 years of French language and culture in Auckland.
For one morning, the beautiful grounds of Highwic will come alive with the sights of a traditional French market. Set around one of Newmarket’s most distinctive historic homes, this much-loved community event brings together French culture, local artisans, delicious food and live entertainment in a unique garden setting. Whether you come for the food, the music, the shopping or simply to enjoy the atmosphere, this special anniversary edition is the perfect opportunity to experience a little piece of France in the heart of Auckland.
Bring your friends and family, explore the market stalls and help us begin an unforgettable day celebrating Alliance Française Auckland’s 130th anniversary.
Admission to the French Market is free.
Please note that the usual admission fee applies if you would also like to visit the historic Highwic house.
The anniversary celebrations will continue that evening with a special event at Auckland Museum.
