French Wine Sunset Cruise
Event description
Winederlust is collaborating with Christophe from French wine importer French Flair to bring a taste of France to LBG.
This pre-dinner cruise will feature 4 premium wines that you will only find in top restaurants.
We may drive by or walk around the lake, but how often do you spend a few hours sailing on it? We will do a return cruise from Kingston to the National Museum as the sun is setting. It really is a beautiful way to experience our city.
You will be served Champagne from Champagne to start. Then we will move on to Burgundy with a white Burgundy, a Rose from its traditional home in Provence and finish with a Bordeaux blend from the West Bank. You will enjoy these with substantial French appetisers from Breizh Cafe, Ainslie.
Christophe will talk about these wonderful wines and why he chose to import them. This event is a unique opportunity to enjoy these wines by the glass, rather than by the bottle in restaurants only. There is also the opportunity to purchase a bottle or the whole set on the night too.
If you have a friend that doesn't drink, they can still join us onboard with a no-wine ticket.
Tickets will be capped at 30 guests for this event (plus hosts and crew). Please note there is a ladder to the top deck and a step into the toilets. There will be water available onboard for all guests. Catering is not intended to replace your dinner.
